Proud to support:
We are proud to support the Forget Me Not Trust

We are pleased to announce our next tour will be the Retro Oxford Christmas Extravaganza on Saturday 27th November 2010.

The following timings are confirmed by Network Rail:

Outward (dep) Return (arr)
Leeds  06:32 21:33
Dewsbury  06:47 21:16
Huddersfield 07:08 20:57
Stalybridge 07:54 20:14
Stockport 08:24 19:47
Oxford 11:47a 16:59d

After Stockport, we continue down through the West Midlands, weaving along the famous canals, arriving into Oxford around lunchtime.

Oxford is, of course, famous for its colleges, but also features a fantastic Norman castle, built in 1071, and today hosts a fabulous Christmas market, which you have the opportunity to experience.

Oxford is one of the most popular destinations in Britain, and also boasts an array of interesting museums and architecture. Tour buses operate from the station, so you needn't walk far.

We aim to depart Oxford around 5pm, so you should have plenty time to discover the delights of the city.

The train is booked to be hauled by preserved diesel locomotive 47580 'County of Essex', which has been restored and painted in British Rail large logo livery by a team of volunteers. The coaches will be matching blue and grey stock recently refurbished by Cargo-D.

We will also be featuring a mini real ale festival, serving a variety of beers from the Greenfield brewery and also a guest brewery from West Yorkshire.
