| Deltic Retro Scot - 30 August

The Deltic Retro Scot is a day trip for passengers from Huddersfield and
North West stations (as detailed below), to the historic city of Edinburgh via
the scenic summits of Shap and Beattock along the West Coast route. A 4 hour break in Edinburgh
has been confirmed before returning via the scenic East Coast
route over the Royal Border Bridge at Berwick. Preserved 1960s
locomotive, 'Deltic' 55022 has been hired for this excursion.

Train Information.
The locomotive requested, 'Deltic' 55022, was built at Vulcan Foundry,
Newton-le-Willows, entered service for BR in 1961 and has been restored to use, having originally been withdrawn by BR
on 2 January 1982.
The coaching stock is provided by West Coast Railway Company, and will consist of standard and first class
accommodation.
Standard Class
These traditional, comfy British Rail coaches are ideal for a day out. Seating in standard class are arranged in bays of four, the majority with tables.
First Class.
If you want a little extra luxury, first class is perfect. The coaches feature armchair style well padded seats, and will make your trip to Edinburgh that bit more special! For a supplement of £15 per person, a "table for two" can be reserved, giving you a table to yourself- ideal for couples! Also, if you would like a continental breakfast when you board, this is available at £6 per person. Please ensure to check the box on the booking form if you would like a breakfast.

Catering
There will be a licensed bar on the train, serving real ales, along with sandwiches and snacks.
There will also be a trolley service in both First and Standard classes.
Continental breakfasts are available for a supplement of £6 per person, which must be ordered at the time of booking.
